Wailoa Park - Duck Feeding Tuesday, 9/16/08 @ 9 am(ish)

Please join us for a day at the park and duck feeding. from the loves bakery entrance, take a left at the parking lot till the end. we will be in that area. bring a kid friendly potluck item and something to feed the ducks (bread, cereal). you can pick up day old bread at loves on your way in.

Orchid show Aug 8-10

WE'RE BACK!!!

it was a crazy summer and a crazier flight back, but we made it and are ready to start up outings again. we hope everyone had a really good time.

this saturday is the home depot project. we will meet at the doors at 9 am sharp as they do run out of projects sometimes.

also saturday, the botanical gardens are free for anyone with hawaii id. we will be heading there after home depot, about 10 am.

Located in a valley on Onomea Bay, the natural setting of this garden enhances its collections of tropical plants from throughout the world. The special collections include aroids, gingers and heliconias, marantas, orchids, and palms. In addition to the plant and bird collections, the garden trails provide access to waterfalls, streams and scenic coastline. The garden is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last admission to the Garden is at 4:00 p.m. Tours are self-guided and take about an hour and a half. The round trip walking distance is just over a mile.

Onekahakaha 6/3/08 9:30 am

Since last week was a wonderful time, the Hilo Moms will meet again at Onekahakaha this Tuesday. Feel free to come late if this is too early for you; call cell to confirm that we are still there. mokupapapa 5/20/08 10 am


we will meet at mokupapapa, the fish museum next to cafe pesto on the bay front, at 10 am. we will then head down to the farmer's market to let the kids walk around. yes, there are vendors there on days other than wed and sat. :)

this outing is great for kids of all ages, even very young babies love to watch the fish in the large tank and push all the buttons.

this event is free.

Home Depot Keiki Project 5/3/08 9 am

keiki will be making a flower pencil holder this saturday. leah and emmaill not attend as we will be in kona, but we hope many of you will go regardless. projects are available until 12 pm if you want to attend but cannot make the scheduled time.
